MAY 2021 BETTY BOOK & REVIEW

MAY 2021 – BETTY BY TIFFANY MCDANIEL

A devastating account of a Cherokee woman’s life set in 1954 Breathed, Ohio.

Inspired by the writers own family history.

An emotional, sad family drama full of violence and hardship. Excellently written with a strong female lead. A heartbreaking and tear-jerking, but resilient story that I could only put down to go have a cry in the shower.
